I so want this movie to be good...but I smell a 'Ghost-Rider' stench all over it.
Plus when the main actor (Josh Brolin) even mentioned it has the odds of being a bad movie and a diffrent movie at best...doesn't bode well.

Megan "Collagen Girl" Fox is alright, Jennifer's Body was pretty funny.

I am big fans of Brolin and Malkovich, and a big fan of Jonah Hex the character but this will definitely be a rental on PPV or Netflix as opposed to something that gets me out to the theater.


I would love to see Liam Neeson do a R'as Al Ghul cameo in this, as one of my all time favorite Batman: TAS episodes is Showdown with Jonah and R'as.

I saw the trailer last night, and Jonah Hex looks awful, which is a shame as pretty much every Hex comic has been good to excellent. Minus Meggan Fox, it has a great cast-- Brolin, John Malkovich, even Will Arnett-- but it looks like Hollywood completely missed the spirit of the Hex comics, adding gimmicks and gadgets more suited to Wild Wild West to make Hex look 'cool'. Maybe the movie will be better than the trailer, but I'm not optimistic. It's a shame, really.

I don't get the whole Megan Fox thing. She was hot in Transformers but Michael Bay made sure she gained like 5 or 10 lbs so she didn't have that emaciated look. That's the only reason her rear looked halfway decent in either movie. Beyond that her acting skills are ... what? Acting skills? Ha!! Sorry just kidding she doesn't have acting skills.

Another comic that could have been great but got watered down by the idiots from Hollywood. How could they screw up a concept so simple as Jonah Hex? Also it is a western so it could have gotten away with a r-rating

I'm surprised there are as many good comic book movies as there has been, Hollywood loves to put their own spin on stuff...usually detrimental.

I also love Jonah Hex (I've been collecting/reading his books since #21 of volume 1, the 70's!) but I expect this movie to be a total POS...

'Jonah Hex' is opening the same weekend as 'Toy Story 3' ?!?!?

This move will be massacred opening weekend and at best will be a cult hit when it hits DVD.

But I doubt it....this movie has "RAZZIE" written all over it.

The minute I heard about Megan Fox being on the movie I know it is enough to turn some people away from that movie. The biggest insult is making Jonah Hex a PG-13 movie. Considering Jonah Hex is a western I figured Hollywood would be bold enough to go for a R-Rating. At least Im pleased Kick Ass didn't get watered down
