Yep, bi-monthly for a 7 issue mini... we'll be waiting for 14 months as of today.

I thought it was nine issues.

And they're "relatively confident" it'll ship on time? There's nothing that inspires a "wait for the trade" approach more than relative confidence!
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.

Yeah, if it turns into another Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk or god forbid The Twelve or Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas, then ugh.

Breevort did say it would take 18 months. Forget what team Wand ends up on or her status, by the time this thing finishes there will be plenty of mental health professionals in whatever nursing home she chooses

I look forward to it and I'll have plenty of time to save up the money for each issue. I know I can come up with 3.99 in a two month span.

Breevoort mentions two villains that will be trying to draw Wanda to their side. One we know for sure is Magneto. Could the other one be the Hood? It's possible and he is looking for a new power source.

    Default About Time

It's been a long time coming, but Marvel is finally getting around to tying up the Scarlet Witch plot string.

Nice to know that 18 months from now the Young Avengers will finally be able to grow and progress. Ever since Heinberg stepped away it's felt like Marvel has been doing everything they can to preserve their Heinberg-YA status quo.

I'm excited for month 19, when writers other than Heinberg can actually do something to the characters that has drastic ramifications. He's a great writer, but that's the only way that the Young Avengers can really move their arcs to the next level.

    Yipyipyip...uh-huh.

I honestly do not mind the bi-monthly schedule if it means that the resulting issues will be across-the-board high quality (Look at S.H.I.E.L.D. that right there is a beauty-full book well worth the wait) with no crappy fill-in art or un-announced three and four-month delays.

Magneto isn't a villain. One is obviously Mephisto. The other is probably That Which Endures/Sublime.
