Wait, WHAT? Marjorie Liu is off the book end of issue #6???

That's awful, why is she leaving? She was perfect for the Black Widow.

Well, she's starting X-23 in September as well as continuing Daken's ongoing, maybe it was too much. I gotta admit though, I picked this book up cause I was a fan of her other work (not that I hate Black Widow).

Ditto! But I will add I would "rather" keep her on Dark Wolverine and lose her on Black Widow than the other-way-around (Marjorie writes Daken better than anyone else). I will also say, while this news does make me sad, I LOVED Swierczynski' Dark Avengers: Ares mini-series (and same artist). So I'm happy we will get to keep Black Widow in very skilled hands. And Garcia does some great visuals and action sequences. So fingers crossed they will also produce some excellent arcs for Natasha.

This will be good. I hope he follows Richard K. Morgan's characterization and fills her with brutal, political, anger.

He didn't write Ares. That was some other guy.

This makes me sad as I love Marjorie's take on Natasha... hopefully the new team will be just as good.

He wrote Iron Fist, Werewolf By Night MAX, Cable, Wade Wilson's War, a great Moon Knight annual and an even better Wolverine one ("Wolverine: Roar"). And some novels.

    I can't say I'm surprised.
I want to see Greg Rucka writing this book.

    Ruckas' words...
"love the character, wouldn't mind writing her again at some point, but that said, I think what Marjorie is doing is wonderful, and want to see much more of her work."
Top 10: Hawkguy, GIJoe Cobra, The Massive, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Fury MAX, The Black Beetle, Batman, Winter Soldier, Suicide Squad, and The Activity.

Yeah, Swierczynski is one of my favorite upcoming Marvel writers, even though his name is always impossible for me to remember.

Haven't read anything Duane wrote, but I was a Marjorie Liu fan.
