I think Warpack was an infinitely cooler name than the overdone X-Force.

Yost: You know, they stopped us from killing Onyxx back in "New X-Men," but we finally got him in "X-Force."

    Kyle: That's true!

Yost: I hated that character. No offense to Peter Milligan, who I think is great, but I was not a fan. But we never do anything maliciously - it's all within the story. Hm, let's see, anyone else we wanted to kill, but didn't, because they wouldn't let us...

    That was sort of useless.

Peter Milligan's Onyxx had double the characterization of their inferior "Rockslide".

These chaps may be getting a bit full of themselves, no?

Man, this only makes me more upset that Wolverine and the X-men was canceled. Two more seasons we could have had? First Age of Apocalypse and then House of M? It feels like we'll never get that opportunity again even though another X-men cartoon is almost a given. Whatever happens, losing this show after only one season is a real tragedy. It had so much potential and the way they ended it was really disappointing. For a show that had so much quality, it does not deserve to be the shortest lived X-men cartoon. Not by a long shot. I actually don't look forward to the next X-men cartoon because I have a feeling it'll try to be so radically different that it will completely lose the classic spirit that Wolverine and the X-men established.

God I'm depressed. Thanks for nothing Kyle and Yost!

If I didn't like Hellbound so much, I may have been tempted to fully co-sign X-Man #4.

The Onyxx-hating admission and his death have me feeling weird.

    It makes me feel weird.

Also, AOA + HoM sounds like a clustermess for a cartoon. They really should have thought about spacing things like that out.

Let's just hope they have better luck with the Avengers cartoon than they did with WOTXM.

For me the highlight of X-Postion wasn't the fact that they answered my questions; even if they massively trolled my hook idea.

But their open and adamant dislike of Onyxx cracked me up...good form good form

Seriously! They love Rockslide but hate Onyxx, makes no sense. And they had created a character just to kill him off again? What's the point?

And WATXM sounds like it only would have gotten worse.

    My favorite part:

If you two were writing the Nightcrawler funeral issue, what character would you have had him secretly sleep with for it only to come out at his burial?

    Yost: Sentry.

    Kyle: Mystique.

    Yost: Destiny.

Kyle: [Sing-songy] Three-waaaay! Ooh! No, Mystique posing as Destiny! Imagine the mind-bending weirdness of that.

Yost: I actually assumed that Chris Claremont had him sleep with everybody.

    Kyle: He's a pimp!

Yost: I think he and Rachel were going to hook up...he and Storm were going to hook up. I think Nightcrawler's covered some ground there.
    Hilarious.

Avengers cartoons never really do well. Remember that short lived one in the nineties. Hank Pym, Wasp and Hawkeye had the armoured outfits. So bad.

I did like the idea of X and the City.
