Lily! My darling Lily! So good to see her back. Very exciting!

    Also, this caught my eye:

And a raft of bad guys, from Ock to Lizard to Rhino to Electro to Sandman spoilers:
    to Kraven to several surprises!
    end of spoilers
Looks like we know where one arc is headed.

I think he's being a little optimistic with that last statement, though.

Not a fan of the art, but this is a plot line that's certainly been in dire need of resolution.

But you know what would be hilarious? If the baby is born, and is completely normal.

For nefarious purposes one would assume, given Waid's "ugh."

Countdown to speculation about inappropriate touching in 3... 2... 1...

Looks like Spidey doesn't get much of a breather after "Grim Hunt." Interesting that we've got four big stories in a row.

    Some interesting tidbits.
    - All six issues take place in one afternoon.
    - It's implied that the events and revelations of "One Moment in Time" will have a direct impact on the narrative.
    - Something big happens midway through the story.

Seriously, Pete really, really needs a win after all the pain he's suffered recently - and, in fact, that's a major plot-point that, midway through the story, drives him with an intensity I don't recall us ever seeing before with Spider-Man.
    - Several "Gauntlet" villains are confirmed, including the Lizard, Rhino, Sandman and Electro.
    - Carlie and Mary Jane will interact in a major way.

Given that OMIT has the potential to once and for all establish that MJ's pregnancy did not happen, having this story right after almost seems like a shame. It might have made for interesting drama to have Mary Jane involved in the plot line after having Norman come after her and ultimately losing her child, then seeing Norman's child in a likewise vulnerable position and potentially having to help Lily from going through the same loss.

That page with pregnant Lily on a glider is so full of win that I think I just peed a little.

    Just a lil bit.

I'm also still holding out that spoilers:
    Kraven's return
    end of spoilers is misleading.

As do I. ZERO need for another resurrection.

Although I'm not sure glider operation is advisable at that stage in the pregnancy.

And is it bad to say I'm hoping for at least one "gross out" moment?

I keep wondering if that was a slip or intentional. Maybe he's mincing words and it's a flashback.

I want to see Peter getting piled on, and Lily's flying around all wildly, going into labor, and she rears back and screams, and the baby pops out, all grotesque with afterbirth, and it flies through the air and attacks the villains, starts tossing them around, though windows and walls, and after it's all done the little green baby is standing victorious on a pile of villains, screeching shrilly.

Lily, panting and sweating, smiles softly. "T-that's my darling boy."

Well, in fairness, that could actually be one of several characters.

And everybody goes "Awwww." Right before it unleashes a torrent of bodily fluids onto Peter's costume. He'd do it to his half-brother's clothes, but there's not really a way to make shirts tucked inside shorts look any worse.
