As someone who became a bigger fan as the series progressed, I absolutely want this to happen. Since most of the really uncomfortable scenarios were already explored (alienating the fans), the mini-series could be like Marvels, the public getting caught up in the awe of these individuals, in contrast to all the fears they'd had throughout the show. Adrian Pasdar, he'd be essential in conveying this feeling. I'd take him back however it was done, "Conversation with David"-style or what.
I'll say it again, a YouTube video of Peter Petrelli rescuing his Irish girlfriend from the hell-future is all the wrap-up Heroes needs at this point.
Honestly, I think Claire basically outing them all and leaving it open ended as to where it went from there was a good place to leave it. Sure, you still care about what's going to happen to some of the characters but you really can't come to a final conclusion on them all in the span of a miniseries, can you?

How can he promise the return of anybody, given the fact that he has not yet met with the network? I was a big fan of the show from early on, but my interest dwindled like its number of viewers. By the end it was just painful to watch. I feel badly that the show failed, but to presume that the fans want this to be wrapped up is sort of presumptuous, given the fact that the majority of them have stopped watching. This guy seems to be having a difficult time facing reality.
Let it die peacefully. If Nathan is back, it sounds like they learnt nothing about why the show lost viewers.

Because none of them had ever gone from being such an amazing show to the convoluted mess Heroes became. The first season was amazing! second not as much. By 3rd it went of the wagon. There was no consistency of characterization, no ramifications to their actions. They tried to do that enemy of my enemy is my friend so many times it just got rotten. The storyline got really forced and then the circus thing was like a Ray Bradbury novel gone wrong. I would love to see a mini-series to bring heroes back to its former glory but I just doubt it will happen.
Also the trend is that most sci-fi series getting better as they gone, sometimes they peak half way through their run but Heroes has been a landslide down. Which is a shame because it had such great potential.
The show went downhill faster than a downhill skier on Teflon skis. Let it go...
They should have something like the bob newhart ending , where Peter wakes up from his bed and the whole heroes thing is just a dream , "oh god, i'm never going to eat indian again".![]()
What could happen in a "Heroes" Miniseries?
Over four years, Tim Kring proved only one thing:
anything could happen.
There's no worth in this show.
Any other program known for dangling plot threads, inexplicably
disappearing characters, at least three Larry Stus, and no
overarching theme, would be called a daytime soap opera.
Let it go.
