Can anyone tell me where in continuity of the "regular" DC universe this book is in? Is this kind of like the Astonishing line for the X-Men where we just assume this is a story that happened previously just not covered by the regular series?
Just curious. I dig the artwork and the story has been pretty fun.
What's the overall consensus about this issue. I skimmed through it and it seemed Vodou/zombie related. I like stuff like that. Was it worth picking up?

I liked it.
In issue 44 it is established that Bruce/Batman has met Dimeter before, in the Vampier/Werewolf mini's.
And tells also why Bruce Wayne is in New Orleans.
So I would start with issue 44.
It does continue through Issue 46, and maybe beyond, because the solicits for 46 doesn't mention that it is concluded.
Both 44 & 45 are more then worth the cover price, but its still not a finished story line.
It's made me want to go back and buy the mini.

Oh ok. Thanks.
Sucks, there doesn't seem to be much discussion on this book anywhere I check out. Is it simply because it's not a current continuity book that people don't bother to check it out?![]()

It's a little like Legends of the Dark Knight or the current Brave & Bold...it bounces around a lot. This story happens either before or after the current stories in the Supes and Bats books...made obvious by the fact it has Superman and Batman in it, both alive and in costume.
