I think at some point that was supposed to be the case, but regardless, I'm happy they didn't go through with it.

Those brothers are so god damn self righteous it's sickening. They act so freakin' entitled all the time, like the whole universe owes them something. They all come off as huge pricks. I'm happy Gambit never ended up being the third brother. I'd rather him be Marvel's bitch and practically invisible than him being turned into a prick, which he inevitably would have become had he been their brother.

Eventually a writer will come along that will rescue Gambit from the shit hole he's been in for the past decade. When that happens, I'll be very happy to have Remy Lebeau back and not Remy Summers. We've had enough Summers the last decade to last until the end of time.

The only similiarities gambit has are with scott. Same colour of hair and they both have the eye thing going on but no i don't think it would be a good idea to make gambit a summers man...but him and scott and alex do have the cheating thing going for them.
