Somewhere Tim McCanlies is laughing his ass off. You know him, right? He first created Gotham, the Young Bruce Wayne series that had the episode called "Smallville" that he developed into the series at the request of the producers....who then took it from him and cut him out. He sued, they settled and that's why his name is in the credits as creative consultant or whatever. Basically, what goes around comes around. This is the one time I hope Warner Brothers wins.

If "joint" was really left out of the contract and its absence does have as much importance as Warner says... ouch.

    Default huh?

I found this report rather incomprehensible ("they argued that less money was made for them to be paid from due to a "sweetheart" deal" ... "Warner Brothers counter to the producers argument is to say that Gough, Millar and the rest are wrong at a base leve."). I guess I get the gist.
