I'm intrigued by his comments about a V2. Hopefully this means we'll get a second helping of Wednesday Comics next summer.
I asked my shop to hold it for me months ago. Hopefully they remembered.
Well, this is pretty much as close to a "yes" as far as a vol.2 goes. Looks like there is talent out there that wish to take part.
Picked this sucker up today - it's a big bugger!![]()
I picked it up to look at the back with my left hand, and it was heavier than I thought, and I dropped it and broke the shelf below it.
Luckily the girl at the comic shop thought it was funny.
Kinda cemented me buying it though.
Glad I did - my eyes had an orgasm when I opened it up.
Just beautiful.
I'm not you.
So you know I'm right.
Hey out of interest what are the extra features like (if there are any)?
There's two new one page strips, commissioned in case any body fell behind with the weekly - I want more Plastic Man by Evan Dorkin - and there's a sketch book section with a page, or half a page of designs and such from each artist.
So it's not much, bot honestly, it's worth it - reading them as the big one pagers was fun, reading them like this is breath-taking.
Also, I believe they may have cleared up some printing issues - the Wonder Woman strip doesn't seem as illegible as it did in the first few - it seemed a bit fuzzy in the first couple of chapters of the weekly, and I think the colours in Teen Titans don't look as muddy.
