I'm insanely interested in "Morning Glories". I'm sold on it.
I was on the fence about it. The teasers had my interest but I wasn't quite "there" yet but when I looked through the 4 pages of interior art I changed my mind. It looks like it could be really good. I get nervous when things get really hyped up, especially when its self-promotion, which was the case for this series. Spencer has been setting some lofty expectations about this series, and I am really hoping the series lives up to the hype.

A solicit for the INVINCIBLE Vol.13 TPB?
So I guess Vol.12 will be out before then...?
I'm really surprised by all the interest in Morning Glories...
the solits / teaser images / previews have really done nothing to tell me what in the world the book is actually about. "Cross b/t Runaways and Lost" doesn't mean anything to me as I've no exposure to either of those things.
As far as I can tell it's just another Harry-Potter-esque story.
I really think they should have revealed a lot more about what in the world it is... I'm certainly not sold on it. I did not initially pre-order Bulletproof Coffin based on the solits, but Greg Anderson has done an amazing job of promoting that book. After perusing that thread, BPC joined my pre-order list.

Did you read the whole solicit information and/or the preview? Something funky is going down at Morning Glory Academy and some new students are stirring the pot. The preview shows one student attempting to kill a teacher while another tries to run away.
I never read any of the articles about the series, but that preview sold me. (I hate the name, though. It seems childish, to me. [Aside from a flower, Morning Glory is a euphemism for when a guy is standing at attention when he wakes up.])
Murderland and Nancy in Hell both also look like fun new books.

Free your soul and let it fly....
I am really looking forward to Brigade. The mini will be a reimagining of the original series. Liefeld described it as being similar to the ultimate line reboot.. he and Marat mychaels say they plan on hitting story beats they wanted in the initial run but couldn't pull off.
Awful lot of security for Hogwarts too. In those pages there is a small army of security personnel and they seem almost too professional. Like military or police more than campus security for a private school. As for the teacher, you know any teacher that has an attempt on her life, classroom explodes, and the first thing she thinks is that the whole thing is a distraction is far more than just a teacher. There is a lot more going on in these panels that isn't spelled out. I'm real curios to see where this goes.

Well that's the problem. The promotion, thus far, gives me no reason to think that will happen...the 4-issue preview showed a prank on a teacher, and there are a bunch of kids who do... something.
Not trying to get down on the series, but in the days of $3.99 per issue comics and storylines that typically require 6 issues to complete a thought, the pre-release marketing really needs to be stellar to grab those of us who subsist on Ramen noodles in order to keep up with the comic book habit. ;)
This one will have to wait for word-of-mouth once people have actually read it and not just speculated.
Best of luck!!

None of the new series appeal to me really. Nothing that graps your interest with synopsis like Chew for example did.
So im only looking forward my usual TWD,Invincible,GUARDIANS OF THE GLOBE,Dynamo 5 mini,Chew.
