Arizona vs Los Angeles City

So for those of you that don't know, in response to Arizona's "immigration" (racial profiling) law my city of Los Angeles has decided to boycott the state of Arizona. Arizona has threatened to cut off some of our power.

I heard that other cities, such as San Fran and Austin, are also planning to boycott Arizona.

Unfortunately for California, we have major Conservative Republicans running for Governor and one of them (Steve Poizner) wants to do the same thing AZ did and do it in California.

That'd be why it has to be a bluff - Arizona legally and practically can't do shit unless they want to face a lot of extra hassle.

Energy ties link Ariz., Calif.

The plant is owned by seven utilities, including three in the Los Angeles area. They own the power they get from the plant, and don't buy it.

Arizona utilities with stakes in the plant never sell their allotments because it's their cheapest resource, and they can't cut off the California utilities and keep all the power in Arizona because it's not all theirs.
