There's no teaser ad attached. Might wanna fix that. Heh.

Edit: And of course you did, while I was busy mocking you for it. So the joke is on me.

Blade is taking over as lord of the vampires.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!

If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

That would be amazing if done right.

I think Blade will be leading the vampires over in X-Men, and then in this book Blade eventually turns on Dracula for the spot of Top Fang. It'd make sense if they're 'damning' the idea of the Heroic Age. One hero doesn't make it into the new era.

I don't think that's happening though. As Dracula is mentioned in the latest round of solicits.

So unless the name Dracula is a title that changes hands with the head of the Vampires, he's not staying dead.

When has Dracula ever been drawn like that?

i wonder how dracula came back since he was recently killed in captain britain and mi:13. it isn't that big of a problem since he is dracula afterall and he did come back before. which reminds me, how did he come back after dr. strange wiped out most vampires with the montesi formula years ago?

I have that issue. I know there's no such thing in comics, but his death seemed like it would be difficult to come back from.

It happened in Captain Britain and MI-13. So I assume they just chose to ignore it, since almost nobody read it. J/K.

Haha! That's the first thing I thought of. Hopefully it leads to good stories though.

It would seem pretty odd if they DID ignore it, considering onlythree weeks back they were singing the story's praises for it's Hugo Award nomination...

The idea of resurrecting Dracula purely do kill him seems more than a little pointless to me.

Much like the upcoming "X-Men" arc, which seems to be an attempt to rip off Mark Millar's Ultimate Avengers - Ultimate Blade story, before he gets to publish it.

There really is a lot of bad communication going on at Marvel right now.

Yes there is. I would just expect X-men. But forget all about Millar's story. (I know he's mad.)

Don't you guys read genre? Dracula always comes back. It's what he does. That pithy little sword wouldn't keep him down for more than five minutes, tops.
