This is interesting news. I never got into the Chaos properties, but it's always nice to know that something like that can continue on.
The funny part is how I was talking with someone recently about Chaos comics. She worked for a company that did the sound effect graphics on Chaos books. Both of us were wondering if Chaos was still printing. Now I know.
This could be interesting with Dynamites track record for kind of refreshing characters and make them note worthy again. I look forward to seeing what they do with some of these characters
I forget the reason. But why is Lady Death excluded? Does Vivid own the exclusive rights to use her for their next XXX Not Parody? :) jk Seriously, why is that character not included again?

Actually, (I think) Brian Pulido himself was able to retain the rights to the Lady Death character. I seem to remember that right after Chaos! went belly-up but before the bankruptcy/ liquidation proceedings got rolling, he licensed the property to CrossGen who put out two short Medieval Lady Death series. After CrossGen's demise he licensed her to Avatar.
Avatar has announced plans to put out new Lady Death stuff under an imprint called Boundless.

It'll be interesting to see what they can do with these characters.

Awesome. First, Lady Death is being resurrected at Avatar's Boundless imprint. And now this.
Fantastic. I loved Chaos, and I can't wait to see Evil Ernie and our beloved Purgatori back in action.

I'd rather se Dynamite do something with Chastity than Vampirella. Vampirella is older than dirt and was never good to begin with (vampires from space.. ghey), Chastity however started off with a lot of potential when Brian did the first mini. Things just got kind of stale after awhile because I believe the other stories weren't written by Brian. And the way Brian linked Chastity to the punk/goth scene of the 70's was cool.
But I'm assuming they got Chastity in the deal, the article doesn't say if they did, but it also doesn't say that they didn't.
Current Pull List: The Walking Dead, Revival, and TMNT (sometimes)
I'm rather looking forward to this. The characters were quite interesting, for the most part, but the series often suffered from poor writers and too many gimmicks.

Dang it, I just can't have my cake and eat it too:
-I'd been hoping that Vampirella would return in a big way, and I got my wish when Dynamite got the license.
-I'd been hoping that Dynamite would get Lady Death, but was stoked to hear that Avatar would be bringing her back in her own separate imprint.
-I kind of always wished Chaos! Comics would return...and now that wish has been fulfilled too.
I just can't have all three under the same roof...
But since Lady Death and Vampirella teamed up a few times at Chaos!, perhaps Vampirella can crossover with the Chaos! characters at Dynamite...
Always remember this stuff isn't real.
Hoping we get "true" Purgatori, not that half-arsed article that bore next to no resemblance to the original character a few years ago. Gods that was D.U.L.L.
