I like hearing that Ronnie will "put everything on the line for Firestorm", it gives me hope for Jason and Gehenna.

Even though I like Magog and will be sad to see it go, I had to laugh. From July's solicitations:

    MAGOG #11
On sale JULY 14 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US
    Written by SCOTT KOLINS
Art and cover by SCOTT KOLINS
The Psy-cho Twins are seeing flashes of the future, and for Magog that appears to mean KINGDOM COME! In part 1 of a 5-part story written and illustrated by Scott Kolins, Magog races across the U.S./Canadian border to stop an experiment gone wrong at S.T.A.R. Labs, and it becomes clear he’s witnessing the birth of N-I-L-8, a major player from KINGDOM COME!
I do feel sorry for Kolins, though. Chopping a story down from five to two issues can't be an easy task, if he was even able to.

    THE WORLD’S GREATEST SUPER-HEROES TP
    Written by PAUL DINI
Art and cover by ALEX ROSS
Between 1998 and 2003, Paul Dini, the Emmy Award-winning producer of Batman Beyond and The New Batman/Superman Adventures, joined forces with superstar illustrator Alex Ross (KINGDOM COME) to create six original graphic novels starring The World’s Greatest Super-Heroes: • SUPERMAN: PEACE ON EARTH
    • BATMAN: WAR ON CRIME
    • SHAZAM!: POWER OF HOPE
    • WONDER WOMAN: SPIRIT OF TRUTH
    • JLA: SECRET ORIGINS
    • JLA: LIBERTY AND JUSTICE
Now, all six of these classic works are back in a new trade paperback that includes developmental art and more.
    On sale SEPTEMBER 15 • 8.125”x11” • 400 pg FC, $29.99 US

That looks mighty interesting since i've never read any of those. I tried to get Shazam Power of Hope from gohastings used online ( was $2 at the time) but after i ordered it they said it was out of stock :(

Has Magog been cancelled then? I can't say I'm too surprised, but I hadn't heard. Anything else or just that?

Yep, #12 is branded with the dreaded "FINAL ISSUE" tag in the solicitations. Didn't notice it for anything else, though.

Dang it, Henderson's still on "Teen Titans". Well, there goes another month I won't be buying that book. I sure hope that rumor about J.T. Krul taking over turns out to be true and that it happens quickly.

And is it just me or does that pose for the Tony Daniel Batman Black & White statue look weird? It's like Batman is a member of the Rockettes.

Anyways, this is what I'll be getting in August:

    • BRIGHTEST DAY #7
    • BRIGHTEST DAY #8
    • GREEN LANTERN #57
    • GREEN LANTERN CORPS #51
    • GREEN LANTERN: EMERALD WARRIORS #1
    • GREEN ARROW #3
    • BIRDS OF PREY #4
    • THE FLASH #5
    • BATMAN #702
    • BATMAN AND ROBIN #15
    • BATMAN: THE RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE #5
    • GOTHAM CITY SIRENS #15
    • BATMAN: STREETS OF GOTHAM #15
    • RED ROBIN #15
    • BATGIRL #13
    • SUPERMAN: EARTH ONE HC
    • SUPERMAN #702
    • ACTION COMICS #892 (One time thing for the one-shot "Superboy" co-feature.)
    • SUPERMAN/BATMAN #75 (One time thing for all the extra content besides the "Legion" story.)
    • WONDER WOMAN #602
    • ZATANNA #4

Trade Waiting: DV8: GODS & MONSTERS, DAYTRIPPER, DMZ, SWEET TOOTH

That Power Girl #15 cover looks sweet, and the solicit sounds like an almost normal comic book..
