I know it's miniscule complaint, but I hope the cover of UA #5 has Simon's eyes colored correctly; they're red, not white!

I've seen Rogue refered to as the Bella of the MUU, as in, she is nothing special but all the men fall crazy in love for her, I supose, but, IMHO, the same could be applied to the Scarlet Witch.
I was refering to Rogue, though. I once did like the character, but, in recent years, she has become pretty much insufferable for me.
Professor Claws still takes the cake, though.

Editorial has to know that he's been killed too many times for another death to mean anything.

I think (hope!) that fact is enough to keep Simon alive and kicking for a long time to come!

I hope he is written to show how powerful he actually is. For so many years he was portrayed as just another strong guy.
When he was revived years after his original "death", he became a major force on the team. His fists were compared to
being hit with Thor's hammer and he was almost as strong. He's also supposed to be invulnerable. I'm not interested if
he is there to get his ass kicked mostly.

Simon Even said his Power was in a Class only Thor could Compare Too!!

Or BREAKING Adamantium Cased Super-Villains!! =)

Or Punching Heroes Threw Walls to Teach them some Respect for Him.

The problem is that Simon has somewhat of a history of coming off a tad less uber when ever he's on the same roster as Thor... which is often the case (and which will presently be the case in Uncanny). In fact, mentioning that he's weaker than Thor was normally a part of his official battle cry.

Still, I think the fact that Simon might be set up with more of a desk job could mean that while he'll be used less, he might actually be pulled out as a "big gun" when the team is in trouble and REALLY needs his help.

Looking at how things turned out at the end of last issue of Unanny, they could sure use his help now. Though I'm not sure he'll be joining the team in the first arc.

Now that you mention it, It could be that from those teasers of UA #4 when Wanda is Fighting Thor, that during the fight Wonder Man comes in to help Wanda at a point when Mind Controled Thor is getting the upper hand. Kind of like in Avengers #34 when he came and saved the team to help Janet come back. Would be the best way for him come back and he could bring along Janet and Sunfire with him as back-up. Sounds good to me.

As usual I'm the power-up guy and here are some thoughts on Wonder Man

The problem with Wonder Man is his body’s poor metabolism of the Ionic energies that suffuses it. At current estimates he only metabolizes 25% of these energies. Once his body further develops to its fullest rate, each 25% increase in metabolism should be exponential. Like a baby trying to digest its food but only able to handle so much before spitting it back up, usually in a ball of confusion and rage, so too does Simon with his energy.

So there is a need to increase his metabolic rate. This can be achieved by placing him in an Eternal Activation Chamber. This chamber should mature his body to the point of fully metabolizing the ions. In addition the chamber grants one mental control of their body’s sub-atomic form. This would doubly ensure his energies are metabolized by allowing him to adjust to any over saturation due to internal or external forces. During the process Simon’s mental status should also stabilize. With a stable mind and body that are both superhuman, Wonder Man might achieve quantum level powers through setting his atoms out of phase with one another with ionic synthesis to match automatically.

Would this place him in Sentry class power, possibly and I have no qualms bout that
