Ah, cool. Thanks for the info.

Forgot to mention, and somebody REALLY should make an Avengers thread for the latest issue:

    spoilers:
Half of this issue deals with a masked female who sends out a distress signal to the Avengers from Innerspace. Sounds like Janet could be returning.
    end of spoilers
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

Yeah I read the issue today and looks like they are setting him up for something.

I might even argue he might end up looking better than normal.

I've said this many times... but Simon was always the under achiever as far as top tier strong men go in marvel. But his brief heel turn I think may have upped his cred a bit. He man handled the Red Hulk pretty well in the last ish... we'll see if it sticks.

Now that Simon seems cured of his farting ionic energy induced craziness (I got to find out what he took. Those gases really can drive one out of his mind), I hope someone sees fit to put him in prominance as a good guy once again. Hickman seems to be investing on so many new high level bricks for his new team, but he's leaving out a few of the great ones he already has. If not him, I hope someone else does use Simon as an all-around good guy again. IMHO, we already have enough "layered", "complex" anti-heros around.

    Peace

I have heard rumors about Simon being apart of "Uncanny Avengers" Book. I would enjoy him being on the team a lot, especially with Wanda their as well. They can support each other and maybe start up a relationship again.(especially after they both where so neglected the past few years) Also, they can both understand each other better with what both to them have gone threw more than anyone else could.

Well that kinda flies against Rick's PR arguments does it not? Hard to imagine someone having worse numbers then Simon on the Avenger Side.

I though similar with Havok on the Team, did not get why he was their or that he may not last long. But after the First issue and how the character was done I was impressed. So I give Rick R. credit with making characters who do not seem like much at first glance more relevant. It would be a bold move to have Simon, but I think Rick R. could write him well.

I wouldn't want to see them pairing Simon off with Wanda. That would just be unnecessarily cruel to Vision.

At THIS point I don't see it as being cruel to Vision, as Wanda and Simon have already dated anyways.

That was before Dissassembled and their current issues though. Vision's absence was his choice, and not Wanda's.

I'd like to see some sort of resolution to Viz and Wanda's current....whatever this is now. He's, rightly, angry. She clearly still loves him. Other than AvX #0 and a couple of panels in AvX it hasn't been addressed.

Just a sit down, "geeze, our lives are cocked up, eh? *hug, hug, tears*" goodbye scene....and then let them on with their lives.

If that's out of the way, I think Simon would be awesome for her. He's always adored her, and she deserves that. As it stands now, Viz and Wanda are both still hurting and carrying around some baggage over this.

....I may or may not care a little too much about these things. :p
