I think I have that...didnt finish reading it though. Ill check it out. thanks!
this is so good. Also as far as an actor to play luke, what do you guys think about Omari Hardwick?(pause) If u don't know him, he was the former partner of Nick Cage in Kick Ass. if u still dont know him, look him up. I think he has the framework for the proper build and demeanor to play Luke.
I'm really hoping for a good showing against Namor..
They need to get Jo Duffy back here writing him.
There are four stages of matter. Solid. Liquid. Gas & Don't. It's science.
I am a male. Deal with it.
They need to give him his own book period, i don't care who writes him [though i would prefer bendis]
It's time for Luke to get a definitive win against someone...
I really like Luke Cage. He is a good father, a good husband, a good friend, a good boss, a loyal teammate, a brave fighter, a serious, sensible and responsible guy that is too straight too go around dressed with a flashy pajama.
You know, the ironic thing is that Luke Cage, as a person, is closer to what an ideal american should be than Steve Rogers, who has virtually eschewed every aspect of his personality (he was and artist, but, when was the last time he painted something? he is irish [son of irish immigrants] but, how many people know that?) save being the Captain America, and that behaviour (renouncing what makes you different to identify entirely with your state) is more appropiate for his fascist enemies than for a represntative of America.
Steve Rogers should dress green the day of Saint Patrick and shout: "yes, I´m of irish ascent, and I´m showing it because in America everybody is allowed to keep what makes him different! because that is freedom too! freedom to be black, white, christian, jew muslim, buddhist, gay, straight or whatever, without being harassed for it".
I agree to a degree, your a little off about Rogers, but in general Luke Cage is the Perfect Every Man hero.
hepz would have killed him. he's lucky he only had to fight namor
I fear what will happen to Cage when Bendis leaves. He hasn't done anythign at all in AvX so far except get beat up. Then again, power wise, he doesn't stack up to some of the other characters in this event.
I really want him going back to being a street hero type unless called on by Cap. His best appearances in the last year were in Black Panther's book during Kingpin of Wakanda.
