Negative versus Shang-Chi and Spider-man? It just screams awesome.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh....perhaps after a preview I'll be more optimistic for I do not know who shang chi is nor the atristic style of the artist. Yea, I'll wait before saying with certainty that I won't be buying this. As a one-shot, too, this doesn't seem like to type of story be very important or have any ripple effects in DD's corner of the MU. As a crime boss, Mr. Negatives involvment more than anything esle has me interested, but the Marvel team up aspect of Spidey and a character I know nothing of deflates that enthusiam to a mild "meh", for lack of a more comprehensive word. It'd be so much more satifying if Mr. Negative was a main player in core Shadowland event. Bah. Whatever.

I agree. Mr. Negative is badass and he should be a main player in Shadowland. I'd much prefer him to be a bigger crime boss than the Hood.

Dan Slott=check, Paulo Sequira=check, Shadowland tie-in=check, Shang Chi=check. Me thinks this will be awesome! Sequira needs more work. Hes an awesome artist and will probably be big soon enough.

Same here. And with him seeking to expand his his clout in NY while DD is doing the same with The Hand, there's be a pretty damn gripping turf war story to tell there. Such a conflict should be an entire arc in DD illustrated by the peerless Roberto de la Tore with Matt Hollingsowrth on colors rather than a measly one-shot. Damn. Such potential wasted!!!!!

It is. You don't even need DD.

While I think things are getting a little out of hand with the tie-ins, 'cause most of them sound pretty good and interesting and I don't think I can afford all of it, I will say that this makes me glad that Marvel's greedy. Mr. Negative and Shang-Chi? Niceness.

They're not necessary for the main story, it's just if you want to know what everyone else is getting up to. Follow the characters you have an interest in.

Hm. It'd be interesting to see Foggy Nelson get negatived by Li. Turns into a beady-eyed little gambler that gets so neck-deep in debt that he becomes willing to sell out Matt.

Sounds pretty awesome. I'm in. I'm starting to actually think about picking up Shadowland itself too. I'm getting pretty intrigued with all the talk about it. arp you know a lot about Daredevil. Do you think it would be ok to just jump into Shadowland without reading anything prior? I've kind of kept up with the spoilers for Daredevil. Should I maybe read some of the leadup?

This is kinda what I was hoping for as well...........I don't think I'm ready to commit to another event and the price tags it will entail so soon after Siege has wrapped up.
