Heh. Apparently I wasn't too far off about an artistic change potentially adding to the aethestic appeal of the new suit, for in todays teaser for Shadowland it doesn't as bad as it did under Tan's pencils at all. The new DD symbol could use of reshaping, though. I still do ever so much wish he was still in red.

This whole thing just looks incredibly lame and uninteresting. Exxxxtreeeeme Daredevil goes dark, woo. And Kingpin again? Man. At least Brubaker used someone else.

Died.
Some backstory, for those who're curious about her: The previous White Tiger was killed in the "Trial of the Century" arc of Bendis's run. Angela showed up a few storylines later and became the new White Tiger in the "Golden Age" arc. She had her own mini-series (by YA author Tamora Pierce) and has been an occasional member of the supporting cast in DAREDEVIL through Brubaker's and now Diggle's runs.

what makes this lame..i think is going 2 be badass and the new DD costume looks awesome
Spider-Man will have his own Shadowland one-shot. These ancillary tites are becoming a bit much, no?

Kingpin has been Daredevil's consummate villain for a long time now. Leaving him out of such a high profile Daredevil-centric event altogether would make no sense. We don't know how integral Fisk is going to be in Shadowland, but giving him a presence, whether it's predominant or not, is perfectly appropriate.
Anyway, still digging the costume. Also interested to see the heroes standing behind DD, almost as though they're united in this picture against a common threat. I'm positive Matt's been possessed or controlled by some outside forces, but when he inevitably comes to his senses in the end, I'll be very anxious to see who's been pulling the strings. And I very much doubt it's The Kingpin.
Guess we'll find out in the coming months.
