Interesting. Not a big fan of the art for issue 17.
Remender revealed. "I know where I'm going with the book and I know where the story I'm writing comes to an end."
Still nothing on why a normal Punisher will be appearing at the same time as this arc in Shadowland.
You know what's a good way to get me off of reading a book that i've been following? Introduce the Punisher in a significant capacity.
Pass. I'll pick up the book again after this arc is done.
Every man is guilty of the good he did not do.
Y'know, I'm kind of curious why they went and turned the Punisher into a Frankenstein monster when Marvel has the actual Frankenstein Monster in continuity and never do anything with him.![]()
Yeah, I don't get the point of this whole FrankenCastle thing. I can't think of a genre shift this dramatic since Patsy Walker went from being a teen romance character to the super-hero Hellcat.
And it's not even some watered-down, movie-esque, monosyllabic Frankenstein. The Marvel version was about as close to Shelley's character as I've ever seen in comics. The first three issues of Monster of Frankenstein was a surprisingly faithful adaptation of the novel.
They could easily turn the character into an anti-hero if they had to. I would love to see a new Monster of Frankenstein book from Marvel.
What the hell; I thought Frank was supposed to go after the remaining members of the Deadly Dozen before "Payback" was over."The issue after this is a special that Dan Brereton will be painting and it deals with the repercussions of this story and puts an end to the second arc of the FrankenCastle stuff," Remender revealed.
I wrote a blog on science and superheroes! Check it out, if you'd like! http://thoughtfulconduit.com/whatdoesthismean/?p=186

DC's Frankenstein can take both of these clowns.

This storyline is absolutely idiotic. They need to go back to Ennis' Punisher who is completely separate from the "men in tights" universe.
Dude whats with all the whinin bout franke castle? Would it be better if the punisher had the same storyline for 50 years, change it up. FRANKECASTLE FTW!!!
i was trying my hardest not to get any frankencastle books, but i'd like to see daken get spanked
RIP Spider-Man
