Marvel comic subscription

Hey guys, i have a question. I've just submitted a 12 issue subscription of Amazing Spiderman and paid for it. I received a Marvel subscription confirmation email, and included in it is a confirmation number. What is this confirmation number for? Do I have to key it in somewhere on the Marvel website to confirm my subscription?

p.s. I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if I'm posting this in the wrong section.

No, once you submit your order, you should not have to confirm anything.
You should receive an email that states which issue number your sub starts and ends with. That same email should have an account number which is used to access your account online.
