That Chris is leaving not only this title but also comics is quite hard to take! Good luck to Mr. Yost in his new opportunity and congratulations on making some fantastic comics.
Interesting - might actually give this past year of RED ROBIN a read.
And surprised to read Yost is leaving comics (moreorless) completely. Good luck to him in his endeavors, and hope he comes back someday.
He will be sorely missed. I hope he finds success outside of comics though.
Sad that he's leaving comics all together....

I'll miss Yost he made me interested in Red Robin. Hate the new costume, preferred the classic one.
Cape shall not kill cape. Kometa!
I'm really gonna miss Yost on this and on X-Force. I think he's a really great storyteller with a gift for characterization. Hopefully we'll see him writing comics again someday soon.
Still though, good luck to Chris on whatever this shiny, new thing is that he's working on. And congrats on crafting such a fantastic year long story on Red Robin.
I'm glad Yost didn't get to do that. I think the non-powered heroes should stay the way they are. I didn't like it when Connor Hawke suddenly got powers. If it ain't broke don't fix it."Issue #13 was actually me giving him powers!"
It really is sad that he's leaving. This series was absolutely awesome (as if you people don't already know I think that). Unlike most people, apparently, I'm not very familiar with Yost's previous work because I took a long sabbatical from reading ongoing comics until 1.5 years ago with the occasional exception of stories involving the al Ghul clan or Joker/Harley, but I've been so impressed with his work here that I intend to check it all out this summer.
I wonder what his new project is! I wish him the best of luck on it. Just from reading RR this year, I'm sure it will be amazing, whatever it is.
Huh? Who thought that? Nobody who read Detective #700, surely. Their match-up has been a long time coming. I think even people who read Resurrection of Ra's could figure that they were destined to do this eventually.Originally Posted by from the article
This right here. Just absolute yes. This is why #12 is perfect, imho. But longtime readers know that Tim Drake always has a plan and his exhausting battle with Ra's was no different, and Christopher Yost wouldn't have Red Robin fight anybody else. "For me, you've got to go big. If I'm going to put Tim up against someone, I'm going to put him up against the biggest guy I've got," he said. "Ra's Al Ghul is it for me. He's more of a villain for Tim anyway because they're both master planners." Indeed, while Tim might not have been able to beat the Demon in a physical contest, he does beat him considerably by disrupting Ra's plans beyond salvage. "What I like about Issue #12 going in, I didn't want to have Tim just go in and beat him up because Ra's Al Ghul is the guy that can go toe-to-toe with Batman!" he said. "It wouldn't have been true if Tim went in and just kicked his ass, but Tim beat him in his own way."
