So Bullseye gave up being Hawkeye?
He better not, that could be an awesome introductory arc for his new book.

Already a full business week worth of exciting teasers, and the event is still two months away from officially kicking off. I'm looking forward to seeing what else Marvel has in store for keeping our hype level up in the meantime.

Probably not much. Wet got the blacked out Secret Avenger images, but then didn't get any other info for like a month.
I think it was a little early for the Shadowland teasers, but maybe with Siege 4 on the horizon and the relaunch of all the Avenger books, maybe they didn't want this to get lost in the shuffle.

Sigh... does Wolverine need to be in everything?
He's not NY based. While he's had dealings with the Hand is he really needed?

I really wish I wasn't so burnt out from Marvel's Events and that I could be excited for this . . .

    Looks like fun.

so many characters I like in story I feel no desire to read.

This really should have come out pre Siege.

    No offence meant, but why?

I was kinda looking forward to this but adding Wolverine to the mix has killed off all desire for me now.
Now it'll be less a DD event than another Wolverine spin-off.

How so? You don't even know how big of a role that Wolverine plays in this. Spider-Man's in it too...does that mean that it's going to be another Spider-Man Spin-off? It makes sense for Wolverine to be there. Besides the fact that his teammates Spider-Man, Iron Fist, and Cage are there, there aren't too many people that have stronger ties to the Hand and Elektra than Wolverine. The only 2 people that have stronger ties to the Hand than Wolverine are Daredevil and Elektra. It makes more sense for Wolverine to be here than Ghost Rider, but I see no complaints about that. And I like Ghost Rider a lot...I'm just saying that to make a point.

And P.S. Wolverine is NY-based while he's with the New Avengers, who reside in Avengers Mansion in NY.

    i think it's more a New Avengers spin-off than a Wolverine Spin-off...

The teasers have focused on other characters, but Shadowland is 100% a Daredevil spinoff. The foundation is laid in his comic and the story is pretty much contained within Daredevil and Shadowland (minus a one-shot or two).

DD will be at odds with a ton of New Avengers characters (cage, Fist, Spiderman, Wolvering, Moon Knight [secret avengers])...but this is a DD story.

And it's about time he got this kind of recognition.

I've been reading daredevil back issues, and he was mentioned specifically as being on a hitlist the hand has in the initial lady bullseye arc.
