Default Shazam: Capt Marvel or Marvel Family

IF there was a new Shazam series coming out should it only
feature Capt Marvel? Or should Mary & CM, Jr be in the book too?

For me it would have to be all 3!

I absolutely love Cap and the family. Therefore, I hope a new series doesn't come out any time soon. The editorial direction of DC gives me less than zero confidence that it would be good or even readable.

All three, plus a story arc featuring Tawky Tawny and Kalibak's Tiger-People from Final Crisis.

They could bring back all the craziness of the Marvel family. I believe they should try to make it sound modern, without making it sound dark, gritty, trendy or whatever they do to muck-up these kind of stories. However, I don't want a bunch of characters talking like this was the Silver Age all over again, like they do sometimes in Amazing Spider-Man.

I clicked 'solo' but thinking about it now I really like the legacy aspect of having Mary and Marvel Jr.

I'd love to see a solo Captain Marvel story. Think about it - when was the last time Billy was featured in an in-continuity story as a hero without being on a team or it being a cross-over event? I think not since Power of Shazam was canceled well over a decade ago.

Yet I think the Marvels work best as a "family". In a way that's what sets them apart from the "Superman" family or "Batman" family. Captain Marvel is not alone when he goes into action - he has his sister and his best friend, heck, he even has Uncle Dudley and a talking tiger by his side!

If there was a Marvel series I'd like to see the whole family.

Gotta go with the whole "fam" of Marvels. The stories revolve around Cap while Junior has the best costume and Mary is the coolest.

Depends, if it is just one book and no Marvel appears in a team book regularly, them the three of them together, though you would certainly have a focus on Billy.

If members start joinining other groups for regular appearances or if the marvels get more books like back in the Fawcett days (true, this one option is ore a dream than an option, but hey, 0.00000001% is improbable, but still possible) then a book about billy with appearances of the others would be good enough for me.

Id like a general shazam book, stories on all of them some solo, some together. Id love it to be brave and the bold style and have small one or two issue complete stories, with a couple of longer ones now and then.
