A bit odd to use Aqualad and make him the token black character for diversity. They could've just included Empress (unless she shows up later).
Artemis will likely be Wonder Woman related to avoid using Wonder Girl I'm guessing and thus not Green Arrow related like Arrowette was.
Miss Martian is the stand in for Secret it would appear. I'm happy for Megan but a bit sad that Secret won't be in it.
Bring back the Blue Marvel!

YJ? More like YJINO. This team looks like Johns Titans plus racially diverse Aquaman and Artemis.
Hm, a Mad TV that actually resembles Mad Magazine could work.
(I did like the animated Spy vs. Spy/Don Martin stuff that Mad TV did in its early seasons.)
She doesn't have to be. These characters can grow on their own, they don't have to be "Popular Established Hero-Lad".Empress is not a legacy character.
"but the 616 is set in America."

She does if you want a chance of selling the show to the people who funds these creative endeavors. They don't care about a third rate character that has no ties with any of the DC franchise. Why do you think they changed Arrowette to a GA sidekick in the first place?
Okay FINALLY they're getting some respect, but I never did understood the whole not using Wonder woman deal ?![]()
Good move on DCE's part, and now let see if it can take advantage of this opportunity.
If DC was playing its cards right, a new ongoing Young Justice or Teen Titans title would come out to coincide with new cartoon. Similar to what Marvel does when a new movie featuring its characters is released, Marvel usually releases a new ongoing or miniseries feature the same characters that would be featured in the movie.
I'll be watching. Tim Drake is one of my favourite characters, and I think there's potential.
What the hell is this? Why couldn't they just make another Teen Titans cartoon or continue the old one? Dammit all.
