Apparently if season 3 is greenlit, there will be another time skip.

How far of a time skip?

I liked this season's time skip. It makes me a nervous that there could be another time skip of similar length for next season. That might be too much for me. I think it could potentially ruin some characters' development if they are just aged again or if they just add new characters to the show.

Also what would be the point in being attatched to the YJ line up if they are going to keep doing timeskips each season? This one I don't mind but at least wait a season or two before doing another one

Perhaps Weisman and Vietti want to explore the different generations of young heroes in the DCU and see how the older generations interact with the newer ones.

I can see it now. "The Team" for season 3 would consist of:

Tim Drake as Red Robin is the new leader.
    Robin (Damien Wayne)
    Bombshell
    Supergirl
    Batgirl (Cassandra Cain)
    Static
    Kid Flash (Bart Allen)
    Cyborg
Oracle as running communications during their missions

    It can work!

Banking on it being a year or three later. If a future time skip gives us Terry McGuiness then I'm all for it

I don't know, man. Who can tell what's relevant and what isn't. This show is going with the old "stuck-at-sixteen" idea for Superboy. I don't think that's particularly relevant when Superboy isn't a partial riff on Peter Pan. Think about the old '90s Superboy comics. He was a cocky kid who flew and lived on an island paradise but couldn't grow up. Sure, there weren't any pirates or crocodiles, but it seemed pretty sure that they were playing with the old Peter Pan concept. Here, it just seems like something to add another layer of angst and make it so the character isn't too old for the team.

I have this horrible feeling that you're right, especially about Oracle. Barbara does NOT need to end up in that damn chair. Although, maybe Connor will at least be able to fly after that timeskip. Oh, and here's one I haven't seen anybody ponder:

There are three human Green Lanterns. What if Kyle Raynor gets his ring and Jordan/Stewart put him with the team?

All I want for a future timeskip is Supergirl. With Power Girl being a member of the JLA
