"No weapon formed against them could prosper."
Just realized that Lagoon Boy is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, no wonder he reminded me of Ben 10.
Weisman and Vietti already confirmed this in a IGN interview.
Red Arrow's search for the real Roy is going to be a major subplot of Invasion, part of the reason why real Roy has not been found is because most of the Justice League and the Young Justice think The Light killed the real Roy.
Frankly, we've got enough characters, IMO. Given that Roy was one of their own and they know who took him, there's no good reason why the League and the team shouldn't have found him by now.
And frankly, given how uneven the writing is, I could see him being rescued and angry at the cast already.
of course there is a reason. Its not like the League has been able to find the Light, or has apprehended Vandal Savage or Ra's Al Ghul or Lex Luthor at the moment. The Light have been playing the League from day one. If the Light doesn't want them to finde the real Roy they will not. Overall the Light accomplished everything they intended in season one. they were the victors not the league who were only able to round up a few pawns here and there.
I don't want angsty Roy back we had that already. Either bring him back as fully good or have him be twisted and evil

Also liked the touched of alien paranoia many civilian Earthlings hold, with their fearful reaction to Lagoon Boy and Blue Beetle.
The Light did their best to avoid the League's attention, though. That's why they had the Injustice League claim credit for all their actions, and why they pressed so hard for insiders on the team.
But by the season finale, the League and the team had a pretty good idea who was part of The Light. They know that Luthor, Klarion, Savage, Queen Bee, The Brain are all members. And while they might not have the resources to take them all down, the League certainly has enough resources to put a hurt to them. And given the personal nature of it, the League would not be inclined to play by the rules, something Luthor and Queen Bee rely on to be as menacing/dangerous as they usually are
Well, I didn't like this at all. I'm also coming at this from someone who is usually not a big fan of DC, nor do I have any where near extensive knowledge on some of the most basic characters in the DC universe. Still, I liked this show when I started watching it from the beginning. But all I felt when I saw this premiere was indifference. I don't care about all these new characters and members of the League and Young Justice.. I feel like I was robbed of tons of potential moments and stories with the old cast that now will probably only be revealed in small snippets sprinkled throughout the season. Time skips are okay when you've established the story and characters over a significant length of time(usually the span of a couple of season) but not after one, so I think so far for me the time skip is a horrifically bad idea. This was just too much too fast, and quite frankly I feel a bit overwhelmed, not to mention cheated.
My interest in this season has definitely taken a huge dive. Even if the old cast interacts with each other again, it's not going to be the same. Again change is good, but I wanted more time with the old setup and original cast of characters before such a drastic change in direction. I'm still going to watch, but as of now I am not pleased.
It was a pretty good episode. I liked seeing Tim, Cassie and Lagoon Boy on the team (what can I say, I'm a '90s boy). I kind of wish Secret were on the team, but able to say more than one word.
