It was the Black Spider. But, his character is pretty much an evil version of Spidey. Also in this episode he was voiced by Josh Keaton, who voiced Spidey in Greg Weisman's Spectacular Spider-Man.

So Artemis is the daughter of Huntress and Sportsmaster

Normally the big secret a character has is no big deal and the team says it doesn't make a difference and everyone goes on after a group hug. But I can see why Artemis doesn't want them to know this. And I don't think they would trust her if they did. Of course she is making it harder on herself by the way she is behaving.

It's weird whatb people pick up on. I'm not a Dr. Who fan, so I didn't notice the tardis while lots of other folks did. Yet, I did notice that the little girl at the beginning of the episode was supposed to be a young Arrowette.

and huntress...isn't she supposed to be part of the bat clan?

but sportsmaster? Yes he's a big scarry guy that's well trained, but his sports motif is kinda silly.

yet in young justice, he's kinda a bad ass.

there have been multiple characters to take the name Huntress

and on Sportsmaster, I think they have struck a nice balance to not make him a stand alone supervillain...that he's the hired muscle for guys like Ivo and Klarion, but against type, he's not the idiot muscle, he's a very capable heavy hitter

The Golden Age Huntress was Paula Brooks and she was a villain, that's who the character is modeled after it seems.

the character, as originally created in 1945, was Lawrence Crock...a frustrated ex pro athlete who went broke and turned to crime...used various sporting equipment was weaponry...javelins, exploding baseballs, etc

they haven't really explained his origin, but since most of the characters have origins very close to their comic counterparts, I would expect something similar
