I pretty much just gave up on the network in general. They cancel or mishandle good shows while keep crap ones on the air and shove them down our throats. I'd rather wait for the DVD's

But..that doesn't make sense to me. You would think the longer humanity isn't the center of intergalactic attention the better chance they have of surviving long enough to develop tech to rival other space faring races. Well unless their plan doesn't come to fruition for another century or more, which since Vandal is leading them or in a very high ranking position..is possible.

He also speaks of Earth becoming the dominating force in the galaxy. He wants to expand humanity's might beyond the Milky Way, and it can't do that without help from other alien forces.

Granted, it is very likely to fail, as we saw in Impulse's future, and the deals with Apokolips can't be any better. Savage, Ra's, Klarion, and potentially the Brain don't have much to lose if it backfires, since they can live longer than any average human. Lex, Queen Bee, Manta, and Orm are not that lucky.

to be fair adventure time, regular show, and even gumball are well written cartoons. the former being very dark in a covert way. so cartoon network does SOME good.
