Apparently the new YJ episode has a plot very similar to the "Kid Stuff" episode of JLU where all adults get banished or something.
Well the first episode was about Red Lanterns, but then it seems like the main antagonists for the first season are the Red Lantern Corps so they might be in multiple episodes. That said, according to wiki the 3rd episode of the series airs on March 17th.(The pilot was episodes 1 and 2) So it looks like we have to wait 2 weeks for a new ep. Personally I don't get that, if you're airing the pilot months in advance in order to draw in an audience, the way to keep said audience is to not replay the same episode right away. Part of me wishes they'd stop airing the pilot months in advance, they did it with Young Justice too. It's been so darn long since the latter was shown I've forgotten what the last episode was about.

Regarding GL, it makes sense to re-air the premiere in what will be its regular timeslot. If anything, Young Justice should have done the same thing. Instead they aired the pilot months before everything else, and then there's huge gaps between episodes and I don't know if they've even rerun anything yet, it makes it tough to follow.

I would agree with this, as long as they had not aired the pilot months in advance. Let's say it does the job it was meant to and gets people really excited for the show, only to have the first 2 weeks worth of episodes be episodes they have already seen. That's a little weird to me. Why not re-air the pilot an hour before the new episode begins instead of drawing it out over 2 weeks? This way if you missed it you get a chance to see it, and if you have already seen it you get something new. Everybody wins.

As I said earlier, I think they rely on people using on demand rather than re-airing episodes.
Honestly? Near-Old Fogey-ette. I'm not even sure what On Demand is. I'd rather taste-test shows on television and/or YouTube fan vids and then buy the full-season DVD if it really catches my eye. These huge gaps between episodes and original pilot airings do nothing but make me miss episodes. Then my eye gets distracted by something else and I forget to keep track of forum threads like these unless somewhere else brings it back to my attention.
(I thought the new season wasn't until near the END of this month until I saw this thread jump up. Very nearly didn't click on it and thereby learn the DC shows start tomorrow.)
Eventually I'm just going to give up and every couple of months just browse store DVD offerings and then check out what the interesting ones are about on YouTube.
It's a feature that just about every cable service provides that allow for the networks to place their previously aired programing where people can watch it at their leisure. It's why networks don't really do repeats anymore, they don't have to as the previous episodes are easily accessible for anyone who missed them, it's so popular they even include on demand viewing that occur within the week of the shows release towards the ratings of the show as there are so many people prefer watching the episodes at their convenience rather than finding time on the nights the shows air.
And Cartoon Network is one of the better channels when it comes to on demand with their popular shows usually showing up like two days after they air.
an okay episode. I like when Captain Marvel and Dr. Fate show up, and i still don't like this version of Superboy.
Well it's about time (spoiler) got chosen to be (spoiler) in this episode.
Over all found the story to be okay. Am getting a bit tired of seeing basically the same League members over and over when we do get to see them. Here was a good opportunity to get to highlight more than just the usual Batman and Red Tornado (although there was the spoiler) wasted. What is the point of having a League with over a dozen members if we only get tiny glimpses of them in the series opener?
Yeah, impatient. I miss Justice League.
On Demand....if that's an additional pay service I'm going to continue to wait for the DVD just on the principle of the thing.
Should be part of your cable package. Might be bundle with Nick shows and other stuff and call something like 'Kids On Demand' also if your still on analog cable (cable hook directly to the TV) you most likely don't have on demand because you need a cable box to access on demand.
