Dont need to complain about realisim or lack there of in a universe that has talking monkeys, superpowered dogs that can fly, and normal people that can get superpowers without any negative side effects, most of the time, and superheroes capable of running around in skin tight costumes regardless of weather conditions. Seems like some comic fans today just dont want to look for escapism in comics

I agree with this in principle, although I it does lead me to ask . . . are there actually talking monkeys in that universe? I don't think either Mallah or the Ultra-Humanite actually outright spoke, did they? They grunted some stuff that may have been interpreted as speech, but I don't recall either of them really speaking in complete intelligible words/sentences. It sort of stood out to me at the time as the creators marking talking animals as a suspension of disbelief line they were trying not to cross..

I'm not talking about the comics. The comics are filled with talking animals. I'm talking specifically about the YJ TV show.
Clearly they must belong to a gang exceptionally talented at offscreen appearances.

I don't have a problem with any of those thigs simply because the writers usually call it what it is in their stories. My problem is when a character that is supposedly a non-powered human is written to be superhuman, and yet, the writing/writers try to convince you how great he/she is because they are only human(non-powered).
An example of this is Captain America, he is supposed to be the most athletic human on the planet after taking the SUPER soldier serum, but from the stories I've read involving him, the writers often try to hammer home the fact that he is more amazing/special than the other superheroes around him because he does what he does even though he's only human. I would never consider Captain America a "Human" because he is not, he is a superhuman/mutant/genetic freak/whatever hell spider-man is. My gripe is that the writers/Marvel, apart from what I've read of the ultimate version, don't seem to want admit that the character is SUPERhuman. The man can jump out of a plane, hundreds of feet in the air, with no parachute and land on his feet with not even a sprained ankle. Don't try to convince me this guy is human, because he's not. Call it for what it is, that's all I'm trying to say, Batman and Daredevil are also guilty of this.

Love seeing the classic, original ,Tom Grummet, Kon-El/Superboy costume showing up on the episode. It, along with much of the pre-Teen Titans Superboy related stuff seems to be looked down upon by the current staff of DC unfortunatly. But glad to see I'm not the only fan of the nineties version.
Anywho, on the subject of that 1995 crossover that involved the supervillains, not to mention a hero or two giving up their souls for increased power, or their heart's desire. It was called UNDERWORLD UNLEASHED, written by Mark Waid and art provided by Howard Porter and inks by John Dell.
Has there been any word on when new episodes are coming back on?
