Sounds like Rich's story about JMS wanting Superman to only appear in his book might be more valid then originally thought.
This may not be good.
Sounds great. Cornell's a great up and coming writer, and I'm really looking forward to this.![]()
Interesting idea for the former Captain Britian and MI13 writer.![]()
Cornell is a fantastic writer. I just hope this is the beggining of his time at DC.
Martian Manhunter, Shazam or even Booster Gold would be great books for him.
I can't wait to read this - and this is from someone who hardly EVER bothers to read Action Comics.
I think the important question for me on a deep personal level is....Where is Larfleeze? It seems unlikely to me, especially after the events of Blackest Night, that Larfleeze would still be okay with Lex walking around with an orange lantern ring (however appropriate it may be). Will Larfleeze make any appearances in Action Comics? Perhaps in an attempt to get his ring back.
That's the most depressing thing I've ever seen from a writer about to start on Action Comics.Originally Posted by Paul Cornell

So you know I'm right.
I can't wait for this. I'm a huge Lex Luthor fan and can't wait to see what Cornell does with him!

Cool idea for a story arc, but the last couple of years is like DC just doesn't seem to even care about making Superman comics anymore.
After reading the interview I think I will be picking this up, sounds fun. I haven't messed with the Superman is on Krypton stuff in the slightest so really don't care that it's more Superman less Action comics, it just sounds like a fun story and I have enjoyed Cornell's other work for the most part.

This will definitely be the first superman book I'll ever be picking up. Hope it's a long arc.
