Psyched for the JMS Thor Omni!

    Hopefully Gillen stays on Thor!

(The problem is that I love both Gillen and Fraction, so it doesn't truly matter. I will buy it both ways.)

I like the Squadron Supreme a lot, but I have a quibble with the omnibus. It's basically the existing trade, plus the "Death of a Universe" GN. The GN is great (it's Grue's stab at a Squadron version of Crisis), but I'd expect a little more for $75. Add in the relevant Quasar issues, at least.

The same goes for the Dark Phoenix Saga omnibus. That's not a lot of extra content for the price. Heck, that one actually has slightly fewer pages than the Realm of Kings oversized hardcover, which is $40.

Well Marvel sort of ruined Relm of the Kings. They are putting all the titles in one gaint HC. I would have picked up the Inhumans story but the rest I don't care about. guess I'll just skip it.
What is this, Horseville? Because I'm surrounded by naysayers.

Too true. I'm still happy that they gave it an omnibus release though.

Yeah, Marvel seem to be advance soliciting more and more things, as well as just downright forgetting to stick stuff up on the website.

The price gaps between omnibuses and OHCs is become a bit concerning though, given that the level of content between them is differing less and less.

Nevertheless though, psyched to see how many good collected editions got solicited (even if most of them won't come out anytime soon).
