Marvel revealed at C2E2 the heroes that will make up the core faculty of the upcoming "Avengers Academy" series. CBR News spoke with writer Christos Gage about the characters and what they bring to the curriculum.

Don't know about Ultra Girl BUT I do know that Dan Slott is gonna be telling a short Gauntlet story in the Heroic Age anthology book thats coming up. Based on the solicitations sounds like he's heading back over to Iraq or heading to Afghanistan.



If a alot of the folks from ATI aren't gonna be used here I hope that they'll show up elswhere in the marvel U (particularly Cloud 9, Trauma, Hardball and Komodo)

I'm sure Dan Slott's Heroic age anthology will set up Cloud 9 and Gauntlet's new status quo in some fashion or another but whether or not that status quo will be followed up on a regular basis is another matter entirely.

This is easily the Avengers book I am most excited for. Love the cast for the teaching staff (Speedball is back!!!!!), and the new students have potential too. I just hope we get updates with where everyone else from Camp Hammond (Hammer) is heading.
