I'm so happy to see yet ANOTHER relaunch. Awesome stuff, Marvel -- really. What was the point of even launching Wolverine: Weapon X and making the solo title into Dark Wolverine when only a year and a bit later, both titles are cancelled and then essentially relaunched with new names? So you can have a hundred variant covers? So you can use the good ol' "#1's sell better" excuse. I'm still going to follow along considering Wolvie is my favourite character and I love Aaron's work with him but this is just getting annoying.
At least I know it's only going to last a little bit longer until this third volume can transform back into Vol.1 #300.
It's been a talking point around here that Aaron's "Wolverine: Weapon X" felt like the true flagship Wolverine title, so someone was apparently listening to fans about that...
I'm hoping the "Hell" arc also incorporates Aaron's Ghost Rider.

- the best there is at what i do -
I don't mind the new volume of Wolverine as long as I get some freaking great stories. Now this Hell story sounds like a pretty good starting point. Maybe we will finally see Sabretooth again.
That would be an amazing idea. I haven't read Heaven's on Fire yet but I hear real good things about it.
What happened to Ron Garney? :(
I will miss Ron Garney, and I'm kind of miffed that they're starting with a new numbering (was hoping Weapon X would become a veteran title - not that that was realistic anyway). But it sounds good. Aaron writes the best Wolvie.
i would love to buy this book, but i'm sure Marvel will jack up the cover price to 9.99 by Sept.
Hope Daimon Hellstrom has a part to play in this.
For-Real-True is only true now.
Story-True is true forever.

Jason Aaron is writing the best comic book right now so I'm happy thats not changing. Garney no longer there doesn't bug me that much I loved him his work but I'm sure the other artiest will do a good job.
Yeah the relaunching the title is dumb but it needed to be done since the Weapon X name didn't make sense and some fans didn't think it was the core book so it made it suffered in sales. Pure and simple its just a correction that had to be made. I wished they just kept Wolverine its real numbering took the dark off the title and just put Aaron there but what can you do.
They botched the entire Dark Wolverine fiasco anyways with respect to Wolverine. They couldn't do anything BUT make this change. So props to Marvel for going back to just Wolverine nad most importantly...leaving Aaron on the book
Ugh. Couldn't they just bring back Landau, Luckman & Lake?
Wolverine in hell. I dunno about this.
I barely tolerated his "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" horror homage.
How come everything has to be a mystery?machinations of a mysterious organization
Just have some bad dudes screw around.

Weapon X was good, but I figured they would drop the "Weapon X" part because it's too specific.
New #1s for established books happen so much I don't see why people get up in a tizzy anymore. Maybe it messes up their collection's order or something, but as long as they're still telling good stories the number on the cover doesn't matter much, to me.
ugh, wtf. why isn't elsie dee the co-star of this book??
