    I really like what you said about people being stuck in the past.

    Hey grifter;

    I listened as well. You guys did a very good job. Sparta sounds...interesting.

    Anyway, I've only got one Wildstorm book on the pull list now (DV8) and one I collect in trade, that's it's own thing (Astro City), but I'll be checking in on you guys. Keep it up.

    I've been waiting to see/hear some reviews of Sparta to gage interest of the title. I don't watch football so the premise didn't spark any interest for me. I've only been curious since Lapham is writing this series. I'm still not sure if I'm going to pick this up. Football, magic, and politics? Hopefully, you'll review further issues.
    The Authority review was cool. I still wonder what was in Hawksmoor's box.

    Yeah, Sparta's a weird book. But unless it gets absolutely horrible, we'll review it until it ends.

    And everyone is dying to know what's in Jack's box!

    just listened to this tonight. Excellent reviews guys!

    Love the podcast on this one. Gen13 and DV8 were awesome!

    Just wish you, like so many other podcasts I've listened to, though, would really crank up the recording volume, because I found it very hard to hear some of your discussion even after turning my volume waay up and being in a very quiet room. Many others I've listened to have made the same mistake and now record with the vol up. Imo, just makes it easier to listen to, being able to turn down the volume if I have to, rather than having it up, but not being able to hear ya. Just a suggestion. Thanks.

    I could hear Joe just fine, but had difficulty hearing Ben on occasion.

    I have DV8 on my pull list, but I haven't been to my local shop yet. After that review I'm really looking forward to it.
