they call it Marvel's cloak and dagger superhero team and Cloak and Dagger aren't members . Too bad, would have liked to see them on the team. But still an great line up for the secret avengers.

Sounds good so far. But this really stood out immediatly.
I guess Brubaker dropped a spoiler that Victoria Hand did survive Siege.

"Interestingly, [her role] fits in with how Brian is running Avengers and New Avengers. Both those teams are under the purview of Maria Hill and Victoria Hand.
Really? Victoria Hand is gonna still be overseeing a team or teams of Avengers? After she was Norman's personal cheerleader? Yeah, she seemed to be realizing where things were going wrong when Norman started cracking. But good lord, the woman shouldn't have a job like this anymore.

Moon Knight and Valkyrie were together on the Defenders? Uh, when? And Brubaker never elaborated on Val's place on the team.

And some of those heroes will split between those kinds of actions in the book and their own specialties such as the "science team" of War Machine and The Beast. "Hank and War Machine really run the science lab on the roving headquarters," the writer said, noting a fondness for Beast's previous turn as an Avenger.
Meh. From one lab to another. C'mon people, the character isn't just a lab jockey.

If Bru was a such a fan of Hank from his first turn on the Avengers, he should be well aware of this.

Still not sure about this -- I'm not that interested actually in reading a Sharon Carter/Cap book. Like Bru said (and I'm glad someone beside Slott and Gage at Marvel realizes it), it's the members who *aren't* in other books that make team books interesting, and his example of Hawkeye was exactly right. I'll check out the first issue at least and see if it grabs me. I'd really like to read more than one Avengers book.

I think he's confused about that. I know Beast and Valkyrie were on the team together.

Maybe the interviewer got confused by what Bru was talking about and assumed he meant Moonie.

Ok, Moon Knight was in The Defenders for like 5 issues. Defenders #47 - #51. Still seems to be referring more to Hank/Val.

Is Steve head of SHIELD now? He never goes out and says it but it seems to be strongly hinted.

Victoria is REALLY good at her job. Steve and everyone else would be a fool to "throw away" such a skilled resource. Also, could it be "keep your friends close, your enemies closer?" I mean, if they kick Victoria out, some-one else (A.I.M., HYDRA, etc) will snatch her up. She's too valuable an asset to leave available for your foes to take. If that makes sense?

I was going to mention something about Hand and Hill (who should be in jail, probably), but deleted it. I'm assuming they're not so much in charge but are the liaisons, a la Henry Gyrich.

If they really are in charge ... well, everyone knows that I don't think Bendis gets the Avengers at all, and this'd just be more evidence of that...

I think Steve should wear the uniform the punisher wore when he tried to be cap.

Put an Eagle where the skulls are or something. Less big guns and bullets too.

Ugh. No. That costumes was hideous. Steve's new costume is just fine by comparison.
