Thumbs up New Spider-Man/Fantastic Four project.

This is great news for me,not so long ago i was complaining about Mario Alberti not having illustrating more Spider-Man stories.
Which is really a shame cause his art is great to see in Spidey stories.
And now i discovered pages illustrated by him about a Spider-Man and Fantastic Four story to be published in the near future.

Dunno if it will be a limited series as was Spider-Man/X-Men or if it will happen in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man.
It looks to be set in the past, since that pages in which Namor appear look to be taken from the context of the first appearances of Namor in the Fantastic Four stories.
Anyways this will be great, and good to see one of the best artist to illustrate Spider-Man stories in some time have another project featuring Spider-Man.

Being set in the past would make a lot of sense. I know there was a mini and a short story arc a while back, but Spidey and the torch use to appear together a lot early on in spiderman.

I love anybook that shows spidey interact with other heroes, I'd want to see it in ASM more, but it would take away too much from the whats going on in Peter Parker's life.

    Seems pretty cool.

Glad he's building on Slott and Templeton's excellent Spider-Man/ Human Torch.

There was a Spider-Man and Human Torch limited series and Fantastic Four appeared in ASM#590/591 and 600.
So is cool to see those classic Marvel characters which used to have lots of stories in which they all appeared together to feature in new stories.

So this will be a limited series as was Spider-Man/X-Men...
    I am getting this.
Cool choices in the period of times for this.
First stories of Fantastic Four, while She-Hulk replaces the Thing (a great time in Fantastic Four stories),while a new Fantastic Four was made featuring Spider-Man (this just does not get mentioned many times for some reason, good to see this mini featuring that) and the last story appearing in the current time.
Just by checking that page in which Namor appears,is easy to see that Mario Alberti have a great art style for this project.
So the first limited series had a common X-Men and Spider-Man appearing through the four issues (Kraven and Mr Sinister),will this limited series have a common Spidey and Fantastic Four villain as well?
If i was a guessing man i would guess that it will be Doctor Doom and Doctor Octopus the villains to appear through the four issues.
And in every chapter of this limited series having Spider-Man and Fantastic Four facing a specific villain of that time. The first issue will have Namor for example.
    Pull List:Uncanny Avengers,Avengers,Superior Spider-Man,Daredevil,All New X-Men,Hawkeye,Captain America,Thor:God of Thunder,Swamp Thing,Morbius,Thunderbolts,Iron Man,Fatale.

Nice idea. I really liked the concept of X-Men/Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four usually tend to work better with Spider-Man than the X-Men do. The preview art looks fantastic as well.

Hate to sound like the bad guy, but how is this different from Slott's own Spidey/FF work again ?

His limited series was more about Spider-Man and Human Torch and ASM#590/591 was a contemporary story which was about the Fantastic Four not knowing Spidey identity thanks to the psychic blind spot and a cool adventure set in the Macro-verse which even made it possible to lots of sub plots move even more forward due to the time in the Macro-Verse passing faster in that dimension.

This limited series is more about a retrospective of Spider-Man and Fantastic Four interactions through time.
The stories seem different enough to me.

I'm looking forward to this. While I'm not a fan of the FF, I really like when they team up with Spidey (if that makes any sense at all). While he has long standing relationships with just about everyone in the MU the FF are truly his superhero family.

    That`s true.
If there is a super hero family for Spider-Man that would be Fantastic Four.

    Very much agreed.
I was hoping to see more work of that artist in ASM,but this limited series visually speaking will be great as well.
