For some reason, as a fan, I've always wanted to know where Lynda Carter lived when she got the infamous phone call that she received the role of Wonder Woman. She was down to her last $25 in the bank and was close to returning to live in Arizona with her parents if the role didn't end up coming her way.

For some reason I always thought she, as a struggling actress in the 70s, lived in North Hollywood which is a haven to struggling actors as it's low rent but still ecclectic enough to interest theatrical people. Well, when I saw her last month when she performed here in Los Angeles I asked her point blank where she lived just before getting the Wonder Woman role. She said she lived in West Hollywood, the gay area of Hollywood. Too funny.

Another little random factoid. She was roommates with Priscilla Barnes, who played Teri on Three's Company. I'm not sure whether it was when Lynda got the call or not.

I really appreciated Priscilla's performance in The Devil's Rejects. Not an easy role by any stretch, given the horrific fate that befalls her character, but I thought she was strong there....
