so Venom is mutated from Spidey's own blood with tweaking by Ock.. curious.. I wonder how Eddie Brock comes into play, if he ever does.. I hope he's not a sympathetic figure..
This is probably my least favorite Spider-Man cartoon. I know its for kids but that doesn't mean the writting and dialogue has to be so weak Marvel could have tried harder.
The only thing keeping me interested at this point is the team aspect. If it wasn't for IronFist, Power Man, and White Tiger I wouldn't bother with this show

Okay I'm done with this show. More cheesy jokes and gags. White Tiger's 98 average joke was horribly stereotypical and cliche. Iron Fist also speaks in cliches.
Adults struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life when the answer is obvious to the smallest child: because it's not real. - Grant Morrison
He's not even subtle about it.

While I didn't find this recent episode as funny as prior eps, I like that they've started building the ongoing plot.
The creation of Venom makes sense within the context of the story, and follows (kind of) how Ultimate Carnage was created from Pete's blood. I didn't like how quickly Ock managed to create it though. I would've rather it stretched out over another ep or two, while Osborn continues to test Pete's capabilities with goons-for-hire.
I like the way they're building Harry's character, and I could understand why he'd get so upset when his best friend starts neglecting him, considering his relationship with his father. I just hope that if he becomes Venom that his character doesn't do the major heel turn that Eddie Brock's did in SSM.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
By far the best action scene is when Iron Fist avoids Venom's tentacles. The way the camera moves and the animation is very fluid. Too bad Spiderman doesn't get fight scenes like these. It could surpass SSM if they work a little.
My opinion.
As a Spider-fan one form or another for seventeen years, strangely, just because it's Spider-Man, keeps me watching it. But I still cannot help but cringe in total annoyance everytime New Nova spouts something out.
Watched the Avengers following, when Hulk answered the question on what to do with Zemo, with "SMASH HIM!" with Hawkeye commenting how much of a genius that is, now that's funnier than anything Spider-Man and Nova said!
