Actually, Taskmaster didn't have any humor to him, so they changed that...

I used to be fine with this show, and thought they were going somewhere better, now I see this Sandman $#%^
I don't care if it was in comics that he once split into a child, two men and a lady, don't adapt something ridiculous

I thought that this episode was pretty damn good and was probably one of the best episodes of the entire series (so far). A lot of people online were complaining about Sandy being made into a little boy in this show after seeing one clip, but if they paid closer attention to the preview commercials for the episode they would have seen an older (either an adult or teenage) version of Sandy. And then there's the little fact that he was still being called "Sandman" and not "Sandboy" in the promo. This episode is a perfect example of how to do a perfect blend of action and comedy. I only had 2 tiny complaints about this show. The first was Spidey's teammates appearing outside of his in broad daylight and in full costume and making all of that noise which was a stupid scene since that would have blown Spidey's secret ID. The 2nd complaint was when Nova (who has super strength) was shown having difficulty carrying Cage, but then later on in that same episode was shown pushing the much heavier SHIELD plane. Other then those 2 minor complaints (which were obviously done for laughs) I thought that this episode was great. Now if the rest of this series will be like this episode, then this series might become one of my favorite Spidey animated series.

I'm going to admit I was one of the ones who rolled my eyes and complained when they showed Sandy the sandboy clip but seeing the episode and seeing how the made Sandman faithful to the comics was a great improvment. Seeing Sandman get his powers the same way as the 616 comics and then Nick Fury and Coulson in a ponytail take him down and try to isolate him from society driving him insane(I wish there was a female Sandman though). This series definetly has it's roll your eyes and groan moment but it is improving. Although Me and and my little sister and brother were joking about how People wouldn't notice 5 Superheroes just outside of Peter Parker's' house and not make a big deal out of it. I was hoping for a Doctor Octopus thinks Aunt May is Spider-man scene like Robot Chicken. However we really didn't think about Nova power feat mistakes but we did veiw him as an annoying pest. We got to see a little of Spidey's intellegence which is kind of a win. This episode personally was a 7.4/10 for me. However afterwards we watched the Avengers EMH Spider-man episode and all agreed that they did Spider-man better and if they did Ultimate Spider-man more like that we would watch and like the show more.

The CEO of Damage Control is clearly an homage to the late, great Dwayne McDuffie. And there's a Captain Ultra cameo.
The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.

Did they cast the same voice actor as Nick Fury as him?
Because I honestly couldn't tell the voices apart!

That really sounds like Kevin Michael Richardson as the CEO.

    Pretty much.

It is annoying how they suddenly are the one thing that's supposedly holding Marvel together. SHIELD is just kinda...well to be blunt, bland.
