Yeah, Jen hasn't really been treated right in AvX, but that also goes for a lot of characters because the whole event is a disaster. Like some others I know, I want this event to end already and hoping to see that She-Hulk will appear in Hickman's Avengers run. Her being in it (not just as background wallpaper) combined with Hickman writing are reasons enough to get me to pick up the book.

By the way, I think it was in New Avengers, but does anyone have a scan of She-Hulk's appearance while she was giving a fitness demo? I believe it was the same issue where she had a talk with Vision about what happened during Disassembled.

Love the detail and Hulk-ing out moment.

Another image from the preview pages for the Marvel Vs Capcom Artworks collection showing Jen.

True enough, as for Hickman he tends to use everyone of his cast, so no problems there. I hope she is, with her being apart of AvX now and not in the injured group of Avengers, Axel's hint, the Panel time she had in the Fantastic Four and her making amends with the Vision it seems to be pointing to her re-joining. Plus I heard Hickman wanted to do something with her in his FF run but couldn't, so he could now if he adds her to his roster.

Yeah looks great, I just noticed she has pouches on her belt.

Cool, I will be getting that art book. Soft cover, the hardback is bit much.

There are some other things you brought up with your post but ComicFan seemed to reply to them concerning Jen, so I just wanted to go over what I left in your quote.

I'm glad the response on Dan's run is always (usually from what I hear from the fans) positive. I have to admit that I never finished the entire run and skimmed through most until the end . I tried, but the art just wasn't working for me. I'm used to many different styles and can appreciate them all even if I don't always see it the same as others, yet with Juan Bobillo he had these body proportions and cartoony components I simply could not get into. There are several great artists who have tackled She-Hulk, and for me I hold Byrne very high up there because he brought this very classy touch towards Jen while still making her look strong and not overly ripped. I got spoiled by his style hah. No complaints on how Dan Slott wrote her.

I'm digging the art team of Carlo and Alves for Red She-Hulk. It seems to match the intensity Betty has going for her when RSH is out. The preview pages have been stellar so far and the combo with Parker equals a run that should be great. I'm excited!

That's all excellent news and I didn't know Hickman wanted to work with her. I actually asked Mark Waid on Twitter if Jen would make a cameo when he takes over Hulk. Still waiting on his reply, but I won't have any expectations since I'm sure his focus will be all about Bruce. However, if he does say yes and to expect more than a simple cameo, then I'm gonna be ecstatic.

I used to collect a lot of art books but when I moved had to get rid of a lot of them. Hoping to see a few pages come up that have Jen in them, along with other Marvel characters and sketches I haven't seen before.

Also, thanks for the scan. That's the one!

It would be great, I would think it would be Betty more than Jen (Hulk has a part to play in Betty's book) but It really does come down to where Jen is. If she is in the Avengers as well as Hulk or the rumoured Hulk team book, then we could be seeing cameos and bit parts. But then again if they interacting in those books they may not be a need for her to turn up unless Waid has an idea for her to turn up. I guess its all wait and see.

Can least expect a few groups images and character profile art.

No problem, hope you didn't mind I cropped the two bottom panels, where the Vision turns up.

Definitely. And with that number of characters Hickman wants to work with, 18 of them... it's like c'mon, She-Hulk has to be part of it. My expectations are neutral right now but everything looks promising for her.

And that worked out since I mostly wanted Jen shown rather than Vision. So thanks for that too.

I love how Jen was handled in Dark Son from Incredible Hulks. She is many things as She-Hulk, and definitely has heart, saving one of the kids and a few others.

That's what I thought too. So here's hoping.

I think that was the strongest (no pun intended) arc with the whole cast in characterisation. I liked the relationship she has with Betty, they are good friends but when Betty is red they tend to bicker like an old married couple which was fun. I hope Parker keeps that relationship when Jen appears in Red She-Hulk.

Yeah, I wanted to see more of them going back and forth at each other. I felt the first half dragged a bit in Dark Son, especially with Hulk chasing around Betty but one of my favorite parts had to be with how Hulk spoke to Cap, and made it seem like he really didn't know what he was getting into and basically told him you are of no use. The rest of Dark Son was great.

Come to think of it, I do remember Jeff Parker mentioning how there would be guest stars in Red She-Hulk, but not necessarily in it to help Betty. So maybe Jen will stop by to put her down (which no doubt ppl who don't like RSH would want, haha).

Artist Sara Pichelli draws a wicked Red She-Hulk.
(Taken from this very thread I saw many pages back)

I don't think its going to be cut and dry as that, plus its Betty's book so Jen would not really win (even if she loses I would have faith in Parker that Jen would still come out looking good). They relationship is not like Bruce and Ross, they do like each other, so I think Jen would try to reason with her before engaging and would look at what she is doing. She maybe right but the way she is going about it is wrong. Jen would know, she did something similar in the last arc of Peter David's run when she broke out Jazinda. Cool Idea I would like to see is Jen engaging Betty and they stop for a minute and talk when they both get attacked by General Fortean (no matter what Jen has done he sees her as just another Hulk) and team up to stop him and his super soldiers.

Yeah she does, its just the context of that image that's a little disturbing.

Those scans are from Incredible Hulks #616, The Dark Son arc.

It starts at 612 and works itself all the way up until the finale in 617.

The She-hulk run was fun. The art didn't really do it for me either, but it is what it is. I think the book is good enough that I was able to look past the art though. The Red She-Hulk book looks like it should shape up pretty well. I'm ready for it.

That is a really good picture. One thing I'm happy about is Pichelli using Emma Frost's Xenogenesis costume-- it was a great costume design and pretty much only Kaare Andrews used it (it was his). Most artist forget it even happened.

Oh there is worse stuff out there, disturbing is probably not the right word but still not a fan of the fifty shades of red that's going on there.
