Yeah, it's from Hulk #24, released this week.

The issue isn't that great, just in my opinion of course, but that splash page, and the page before where Jen says she doesn't care how many She-Hulks pop up, that she's the original, make the issue completely worth it!

That is good splash page, and although I can understand Jen's frustration, I don't like how she and Betty immediately went to blows. I'd like to see a side story where Jen helps Betty adjust to being a she-hulk from teaching her how to control her transformations to finding an outfit that does not shred when she transforms.

It is a great splash page. To be fair to Jen she didn't know Red She-Hulk was Betty. (She called her Red) If she had known Jen would not have retaliated like that at all. Anyway things will work out for the better, they wouldn't be on the same team right? And Betty gets a new costume (well pretty much all the Hulk family gets new costumes). Check out the cover for November's Incredible Hulks, looks like her old one but not shredded to pieces.

Speaking of Incredible Hulks Paul Pelletier is back on the book in December for the Chaos War tie-in. He mention something that had to be posted here.

"Pelletier: It's great to be drawing She-Hulk again! It reminds me of how much fun I had working on that book with Dan Slott ... now I'm having a blast with Greg on this one. Hmmm ... what's the common factor? It must be a She-Hulk thing! "

I loved Paul on Slott's She-Hulk ! I haven't read thru this whole thread but She-Hulk is my all time favorite Marvel character. Savage She-Hulk back in 1980 was the first comic I ever really consciously collected. I am so excited she is getting her own book---the following year after her last one ended. That is her quickest comeback yet ! (not counting the planned hiatus between seasons 1 & 2 of She-Hulk).

I really hope this new book can succeed and have a really long run. I am very grateful to Marvel for giving her another chance this quickly. I feared I might have to wait another 10 years. Can't wait for November !

She-Hulk in the law office offered that and it was a pleasure to read a soap opera like comic inter mixed with all the standard superhero drama comics. They went wrong when they made her a bounty hunter, though I did like Jaz as a sidekick to her.

It's sort of thet same formula they took with Power Girl and now are screwing up by making her just another superhero action comic.
Except, She-Hulk is a character is a character that can interpreted in alot of ways.

Also, PAD's run was great and i loved her friendship with Jaz. Besides, even in PAD's run the book still had humor.

I would definitely agree that She-Hulk is versatile enough to be handled in different ways but it seems a shame that that often seems to contribute to her problems. The She-Hulk audience is very fractured. There are people who only like her Savage or only Sensational or only serious or only funny, etc. I love her any which way and all ways ! I hope that all She-Hulk fans will find something to love about this new series so we could all unite in support of it.

I was just looking at all the great John Byrne artwork posted here ! That was great to see. Where is all that from ? I'd still love to see Byrne make a visit back to the character on something. I'm hoping they will allow this new series to have Annuals since we have never gotten a She-Hulk Annual in her past series (I know that Cosmic Collision one shot was meant to be the first ever Shulkie Annual, but alas, it was not meant to be). I think an Annual could be a great venue for people like Slott, David and Byrne to revisit the character !

Its from his website Byrne Robotics. Hopefully if his book does well, it will have annuals.

Stegman's art is awesome, so I'm buying issue #1 for the art alone.

My favorite splash page of the past few years!
Sweet mother of Mary what a splash page!!!! Jen needs to get another chance at an ongoing. Or at least get the back-up billing in Incredible Hulk.
There are four stages of matter. Solid. Liquid. Gas & Don't. It's science.
I am a male. Deal with it.
