Jennifer Susan Walters, the Sensational She-Hulk.

Cousin of Bruce Banner also known as the Incredible Hulk. While visiting her one day Jennifer Walters was fatally wounded by gang members, with one one chance to save her life Bruce Banner gave her a transfusion of his gamma irradiated blood, which transformed Jennifer into a confident powerhouse who lives life to the full while trying to balance her life as a lawyer with her life as a superhero.

• Unlike her cousin Jennifer retains her intelligence in her Hulk form and can change at will rather than anger.
• Jennifer also prefers to be in her Hulk form and at one point was mind locked into unable to change back in her human form.
• Jennifer is very easy going and one of the kindest super humans on the planet but make her angry and you will regret it.
• She has been a member of several teams and groups such as the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Fantastic Force, Lady Liberators, Defenders, Heroes for Hire, S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Future Foundation just to name a few.

I love her. I have every single issue of She-Hulk's ongoing series, and frequently read and re-read her Savage She-Hulk series from the 80's.

No intention of derailing this, but we have two She-Hulks now, and I hope they're both here to stay. If a She-Hulk comic is unsustainable, then I'd like Marvel to do some rotating backup stories in Incredible Hulk with Jen, Lyra, or both.

I have no problem with Lyra, I like her and would be more than happy to see more adventures of them together. I think the problem people have with Lyra is that she was given the She-Hulk name, the funny thing is she has never called herself that.

Have you read the Anniversary one-shot? I loved the PAD story it was so funny.

I haven't read it yet because my LCS didn't alert me it was coming out, and they didn't order any.

I voted that I liked her on a team. I really didn't care for the "Savage She Hulk" phase but when she was in Shooter's "Secret Wars" and then subbed for The Thing in the "Fantastic Four", I appreciated the character a lot more. I hope she does a guest shot in the FF some day soon. Are any of Byrne's run on She Hulk in a trade?

She is part of thier history now, so I don't see why she won't pop up now and again. As far as I know the only trade is really old out of print of the first Eight issues. They really need to release a John Byrne Visionaries of that series.

Marvel has been pushing this as the year of the Women of Marvel. They should do it just for that reason.

As much as I'd love her to have her own title again, I'd be more than happy just to see her back in the Avengers or FF where she belongs. The current treatment of the character is a disgrace.
