Default As I promised Gail, KRATOS/WONDER WOMAN

I just finished a few days ago the Game "God of War III" for the PS3. Graphics were wonderful, storyline was cool. (I had never played a GOW game Before so bear with me)

Now, what I love about the game is that it is based on Greek myth. Which is what I alos love about Wonder Woman.

There is Hercules, Hera, Zeus, Hermes, Athena and Mother Earth Gaia.

All these characters that are in Wonder Woman the comic.

The character Pandora tells Kratos at the end of the game, ( which was released in March this year) "The most Powerful Weapon is HOPE". Something that Gail Simone wrote a year ago in issue 28 of Wonder Woman.

So that put a smile on my face.

PS a poster on either this board or the DCMB posted once that Gaia RENEWS the Earth, which was an interesting thing because at the end when Kratos is fighting Zeus INSIDE of Gaia/Gaea Kratos uses Mother Earth, (as does Zeus) to renew their strength during the climatic and bloody Battle

Ares was the major villain the first game. Aphrodite also appered in a mini sex game in God of War 3 considering she's not just the god of love but also the god of sex.

To me the more epic, grander, and darker feel to Greek Mythology that God of War does is kinda what I want in WW. Perez did that and when he incorperated myth it was very interesting and exciting. Now in the comics, we have the more Rami/Xena approach to mythology which is fine every once and a while but its done constantly now to the point where when ever myth is included into a WW story, it's boring and stale.

Which is why she goes to bed crying every night, thinking about Diana, the 30 years old virgin.

Well as shown in the game, she always has Kratos to keep her warm and cozy at night.
