there is marvel masterworks captain marvel volume three which has his first iron man appearance and first major story arc from marvel, and apparently has extras.ive been meaning to get it but havent yet so i dont know what extras are for sure in it. his second set of appearances are in marvel masterworks warlock vol 2 which i do have and highly recomend, not too many extras with thanos though, mostly just the lost pages of warlock 16, a few sketches and covers

Very happy to see him back~
i view those stories as the final part of the initial thanos trilogy.
beginning wiht his iron man and captain marvel appearances. then his warlock and avengers/marvel two in one appearances, then those stories. they telll a trilogy. thanos stories tend to be trilogies ive noticed.

Thanos is fantastic, and I think DnA get it. They are using him as the foundation, and that gets me pumped for his return!

    Read it!!!

Cosmic powers 6 part mini series where Thanos gathered a small group to face Tyrant to "test" himself.

Tyrant was a formitable cosmic opponent for thanos , having thrashed Surfer , Gladiator , Beta Ray Bill , Jack of Hearts , etc together before.

Shame that he's no longer around , having been ultimate nullified by Morg.

Thanos, by Andrea DiVito...probably one of the best artists to draw the Mad Titan. One of the best artists in all of comics - period!

    Thanos vs. that chump Apocalypse...

DiVito draws a good Thanos, but no one draws Cosmic Marvel better than Ron Lim.

Can't argue with that. Lim was one of the best. I wish they'd bring him in. I'm kind of nervous about the art we'll see for the Thanos Imperative. I do hope whoever's drawing it gets Thanos right. His face has some very particular features that a lot of artists mess up, (see Renato Arlem in Annihilation: Silver Surfer...he was terrible at drawing Thanos).

Lim's Thanos practically became the definitive one but I dunno, I still prefer George Perez's Thanos and Andrea Divito's more stylistically.
