Marvel vs Capcom 3

Pro's actually, most pro's hate the giants characters. Just Check the SRK forums and the like.Besides, the whole point is having 3 vs 3 matches. It might fly in TvC, but this is MvC and giant characters would be a waist of space.

I've seen pros use giant characters. In fact, A PTX made it to the final in a major Japan tournament not to long ago. I personally like to see giant characters in MvC3. It's probably the only way Eric O' Grady will make the roster.

From the Marvel side there were a couple we were considering using, such as some of the Fantastic Four characters, but for various reasons we just couldn't implement them, or they weren't on the right table but Marvel came back and said "why not use this character instead", and we responded "oh, okay that's fine", but unfortunately we couldn't get any of the Fantastic Four into the game.

The FF as a whole don't neccesarily lend themselves to a fighting game, at least not Sue, and Ben is redundant when the Hulk is around. It's all but been proven that the Super-Skrull will be in the game, so that's a nice way of including the team without actually including them.

There are no legal reasons. Super Skrull can do the job without taking up 4 character slots.

With a bit of imagination and creativity ANY character can lend themselves to a fighting game. Remember that one eyed octopus Shuma Gorath? Below are few more examples of unlikely fighting game characters.

They could have been cool boss team. Utilizing team up attacks like Rival schools.

Super Skrull is going to be cool. I wonder if the Silver Surfer has been added. After the FF characters, my next choice was Ghost Rider. Fingers crossed, he made it in.

There is literally no way that Spider-Man is not in this game. I don't see why people are even bothering to speculate. Not only is he one of their most iconic characters in existence, but he's also probably Marvel's most popular character in Japan...where this game is being made.

Am I the only one that doesn't like Marvel's characters (Graphic-wise?) Iron-Man looks like a Lego. However, Ryu, Chris, and Morrigan look better! Maybe it could be the in development...TVC doesn't look like that and that cel-shaded!

Based on the those screen shots, they do look kinda sh1tty. Reminds me of clay fighter on the snes.
I'll reserve final judgment for when the game is complete and ready for release. I'm confident it's going to look sick once it's finally ready to come out.

When are we going to get a trailer with actual gameplay the suspence is killlng me. I'm going to speculate that the last part of the clip hints that Galactus is going to be in this.

Yeah even prior to the trailer some people have been suspecting that Galactus would be the final boss, with the subtitle "Fate of Two Worlds." That and it's been stated that the final boss would be a Marvel character and that people will be happy with who they choose. Who knows for certain though.

There will be a build for MVC3 at E3, so just another week if not sooner and we should see some gameplay if all goes.
