Yep. Awkward. Kurt can't get a break. Neither can Amanda. I find it funny that Kurt is raised by Margali because Mystique tried to kill him. Then years later Margali almost kills Jimaine.

Anyway... Jimaine needs to come back and avenge Kurt.

I don't think mad will even begin to cover it, Margali can really hold a grudge. After all, she is the woman who sent Kurt--her own adoptive son--to hell for accidentally killing her "real" son. She'll probably go on a bloody rampage until Kurt get's brought back, or someone pays for his death. My money is on Scott.


I also found it a bit strange that no one even bothered to call Amanda to tell her about Kurt's funeral. She's a teleporter too after all, she literally could have been there in a second if she'd just been notified. She also could have helped with the whole Second coming if someone had just called her.

In Uncanny X-Men #153, where Kitty told Illyana (pre-Belasco) a fairy tale with the X-Men as characters, Kurt appeared as a Bamf. Later, during Nightcrawler's first four-issue mini, he discovered a whole tribe of Bamfs in another universe.

Wasn't there a story about Amanda freeing Selene from a prison the upstarts had her in? I know it was not by choice that she was doing it, I just can't remember the story. I know I read it, I just can't remember where or I am a bit stoned.
Anywhoo Amanda was always fun. I liked her when I read her.
