This is an episode to remember.

For one thing,it's the closest this series will come to being "darker and edgier".

Also,we get to see Bruce Wayne's face.

Then, besides the Joker (always a favorite!),the Penguin,Solomon Grundy and Two-Face,there's also Poison Ivy,Mr.Freeze and the Mad Hatter . . . and leave us not forget Joe Chill.

To say nothing of the Phantom Stranger and the Spectre.

Of course,Adam West as Thomas Wayne.

P.S. The Teaser with Zatanna helping Bats against Abra Kadabra wasn't bad either.

This was just brilliant and beautiful, worthy enough of being an episode of TAS (which is close since Dini wrote it). It really shows that this show isn't just for kids; the origins and flashbacks were very well done, and it was a realy treat to see Bruce's face.

Was it just me, or did Two-Face have his voice actor from TAS back for this one? It sounded like him.

Yeah, that was Richard Moll reprising the role for this one time only. Also, he voiced Lew Moxon.

    Who did Mark Hammil voice?

It was pretty grim for a comical show. Did folks note that Bats pretended to be a priest - thus denying the bad guy a true confession of his sins.

That's a pretty nasty little trick.

The show could use a touch more seriousness, IMHO and do move away from GA, Aquaman and Blue Beetle, so much. Having PS and Spec was a good move.

Mark Hammil played as the Spectre. He did damn good voice work too considering that I didn't recognize him without seeing the credits first.

I actually like that they are using those characters
Especially Aquaman, he deserves to have his reputation fixed after almost 40 years of pop-culture mistreatment

Aquaman and GA are a touch buffoonish in the show and over-exposed, IMHO.

So many characters - where's Captain Carrot?

Considering that the Challengers of the Unknown and the Metal Men made appearances on the show, Captain Carrot wouldn't be too far-fetched
